By accessing or using DarkSentry's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Description of Service

DarkSentry provides dark web monitoring services including:

  • Credential leak detection and monitoring
  • Data breach alerts and notifications
  • Brand and domain mention tracking
  • Threat intelligence reporting
  • API access for programmatic integration

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into contracts
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Monitor domains or assets you do not own or have authorization to monitor
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other users
  • Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
  • Use automated means to access the service beyond provided APIs

5. Subscription and Payment

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.

Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. After this period, no refunds will be issued for cancelled subscriptions.

Price Changes

We may change prices with 30 days notice. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after notice.

6. Intellectual Property

DarkSentry and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the service, including all intellectual property rights. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service.

You retain ownership of data you submit to the service. You grant us a license to use this data solely to provide and improve our services.

7. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of threat data
  • Warranties that all security threats will be detected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DARKSENTRY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DarkSentry, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Requests by law enforcement or government agencies
  • Discontinuance of the service
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Non-payment of fees

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
